It's early on Monday morning near the campus of Johnson University - Allison, Cassandra and Cody are still sleeping soundly (at least Cody was snoring when I left the dorm room) and I'm enjoying an Illinois like early morning - 40 degrees and wind. The four of us are in the area for Dr .Jody Owens annual Spiritual Formation Retreat at the Eagle Rock Retreat center in the Smoky Mountains - it begins this afternoon. What a beautiful spot in God's creation is the Smoky Mountain area! So blessed am I to be able to connect again w/ Jordan Taylor (who graduates from Johnson in 19 days)! Shorter blog this morning, but important info none the less - let's get this rolling:
** This Sunday night - Fan the Flame at FCC at 6pm - GET YOUR TICKETS this week! Tickets are available at FCC in the office or at www.itickets.com. ALL money raised above/beyond the cost of the concert will go to the Vault project!

** Tuesday April 24 - RELOAD for Men at 6am!

** ROOTED - our 9 groups are rolling into their second week of study - pray for these 115 participants and 9 facilitators.
** Little Galilee Camp - please take advantage of this great blessing so close to our church and remember FCC will pay 1/2 tuition for one session of camp for YOU, your children and your grandchildren!
** Little Galilee part 2 - we are trying to gather 100's of boxes of cereal for the camp - could you donate 1, 2 or 10 boxes of cereal?
Finally, continue to pray for families in our church who are struggling w/ illness, crisis or the loss of loved ones. Please pray for the family of Delmar Sandage - what a great man of God - his funeral was Friday in Decatur.
And please pray for the four of us in Tennessee as we take a couple of days to unplug and grow in our walk with Jesus. Have a great week! See you Sunday!
