Happy New Year to you! My hope and prayer 2018 is an incredible year of growth and blessing for you - especially in your walk with Jesus. I am really excited about 2018 for multiple reasons - FCC's new VISION and Rooted will be rolled out, the Neighborhood Care Center will look for new and better ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus, brand new connections and reunion gatherings will take place and ministry to the next generation - children and teens - will continue to be a top shelf priority at Clinton FCC.
And yet at the top of any "list" of what matters most and has top priority continues to be this: Jesus. We will continue to follow - bottom line. We will continue to submit to Jesus - bottom line. We will continue to both know and live out the teaching of Jesus. To steal a tagline from multiple December sermons: It's NOT about YOU - or ME - it's ALL about Jesus! Here is a New Year's verse to memorize: "If anyone is IN Christ, He/She is a NEW CREATION - the OLD is gone and the NEW has come" - 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Over the next week plus, keep the following in mind and make the most of these opportunities:
